Palawan: Bidding Adieu to a Place Nothing Short of Overwhelming

Probably the last set of pictures from my recent Palawan business trip (unless I’m able to find a good batch of pictures worth showing).
Some notes:
1: We rode Air Philippines to and from Palawan. We’re 8 minutes ahead of schedule when we arrived there, and that’s good. It’s our flight back that went a bit sour. The plane was 30 minutes late; was stalled in the runway due to some technical problems; and had no airconditioning (we waited for about 20 minutes or just until we reached the cruising altitude before it worked). So our ETA in Manila was delayed close to two hours. Will I ever fly with them? Probably not. That bad experience is already one too many.
2: Oliver is was my officemate. This was his last day in the company we were working for. He’s the reason why I went to Palawan in the first place (the project he’s leaving are being turned-over to me and I need field orientation).
3: Puerto Princesa Airport is small and relatively old. I think it can only hold about 500 people at a time. Palawan is the best tourist destination in the country and the local government should invest in its renovation and improvement.
4: At 28000 feet, temperature inside finally became comfortable and I was already starting to feel good. Then they served the snacks, another in-flight disappointment.
5: Touchdown at around 2:15P.M. ETA written on the ticket was 12:35P.M.
